Welcome to registration for the 2019 annual conference of the Louisiana Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Our conference looks a bit different this year, but promises to provide you with high quality professional development, networking, and the latest MFTAC updates.
Instead of break out sessions this year, we are focusing on the core requirements to maintain our licenses as well as a special focus on PLMFT's and Graduate Students, who are the future of our profession!
Our conference theme is "Looking Back, Moving Forward." 2019 will find us working hard to incorporate past successes, while also looking for new ways to strengthen our association and attract young professionals to the field of marriage and family therapy.
All conference programs will take place in Salon 1 at the Renaissance Hotel in Baton Rouge ("LAMFT After Dark" TBA). Continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, and the Sunday luncheon will be set up outside of Salon 1 for your convenience. Restrooms are located across the hall from Salon 1. There is plenty of self-service parking and parking is free.
Included in your registration fee are a continental breakfast each morning, morning and afternoon coffee breaks (coffee, soda, water), a Saturday night party, and a Sunday luncheon.
Conference Agenda:
Conference programs are focused in the areas of Diagnosis, MFT Ethics, Supervision, PLMFT/Graduate Students, and MFTAC Updates. A total of 18 ceu's are available to full conference participants. All conference programs are stand alone sessions with only one program scheduled for each time block. Please see the schedule for specific times and topics for the programs.
